Beam Expands Leadership Team with 3 Key Hires

COLUMBUS, OH (September 24, 2020) — Beam Dental today announced the addition of three key members to the leadership team. Joining Beam are Laurie McGonigle (Head of General Agent Partnerships), Susan Jacobs (Senior Vice President, Marketing), and Brian Lelio (Head of National Broker Partnerships).

Laurie joins Beam with over 30 years of experience in the insurance industry. Most recently, she served as Senior Vice President of Strategic Partnerships & Enhanced Benefit Sales at Kelly and Associates Insurance Group, one of the largest providers of employee benefits administration in the Mid-Atlantic. There, she focused on new business and growth opportunities. Laurie also served as the Senior Vice President of Administrative Services at KELLY for 12 years.

Susan brings over 15 years of advertising and product, B2B, and B2C marketing experience across the insurance, travel, and tourism industries. She joins Beam from The Hertz Corporation, where she was Senior Vice President and Global Brand Leader for the Dollar, Thrifty, and Firefly brands. Prior to Hertz, Susan worked in the global insurance practice at McKinsey and Company as well as in marketing and corporate strategy for Nationwide Insurance.

Brian has worked in the insurance industry for 20 years. He previously worked at Guardian for four years, where he was the Head of National Broker Partnerships. In that role, he focused on growth through building and expanding relationships with broker and technology partners. In addition, Brian led Guardian’s Client Management Organization and customer retention development. Prior to that, he worked at MetLife for more than 13 years in large market distribution and led the development of growth strategies for group life and multi-group product solutions. Brian was also responsible for creating innovative communication and re-enrollment solutions for all market segments.
